When I’m a child …every year, just a few days before my birthday, I got really excited with the thoughts of: What will Mom and Dad give this year, what will my siblings give me, what will my friends bring before me as a shocker.
The tradition in every birthday is the birthday-person gets all the presents, but it is different with Him. Every day of His birthday, I got all the presents. Every year, I got two birthday presents, one for my own birthday one for His birthday (we call it Christmas present).
How nice is He. Born unto the world to save me, yet I got all the presents on His birthday.
This year I decided to give Him a birthday gift, it’s His birthday; He shall be the One receiving my gift.
What should I give Him? Things and money? He has all the money in the Earth, in Mars, in Venus, in Jupiter, and the rest of the planets. Hmmh… it is written that: ’God sees the heart’, so I think a changed heart would be a nice gift for Him.
A preacher once told me that everybody has his own ‘Favorite Sin’-means a sin that we are struggling to be cured from committing it, we fall and rise from doing it many times in our life. So I am thinking of my favorite sin, I think this year I’ll pray that He help me to over come it and have a consistent hard work in not doing it.
God sees the heart, whatever our gift to Him… gives it with heartfelt.
